“Nation of Nations” is a series of 10 multimedia works on panel by artist Marjorie Guyon. Inspired by Walt Whitman and our founding fathers, Marjorie set out to create a community and public art project with a social mission: to spark conversation and inspire curricula exploring the question, “how do we form a more perfect union?” Marjorie’s project perfectly matches The Humanitarium’s mission, to understand and celebrate human diversity through education and the arts. The Humanitarium believes that these panels will act as catalyst to stimulate thought, discussion and reevaluation of what it means to be an American. The Humanitarium is proud to be the non-profit chosen to help Marjorie’s work reach our community and nation.

The Humanitarium’s mission, to understand and celebrate human diversity, will be furthered through the medium of art; these panels will act as catalyst to stimulate thought, discussion and reevaluation of what it means to be an American. Our hope is to bring this to all educational levels. [...]
